Effective date: January 2026

1. Introduction

At GLPTrackr, our mission is to help GLP-1 users track their medication, nutrition, and weight loss journey in a safe, supportive environment. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") outlines activities and content that are prohibited when using our mobile application, website, community features, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to abide by this Policy. This Policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.

Violations of this Policy may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination of your access to the Service, at our sole discretion. In serious cases, we may report violations to the relevant authorities.

2. Your responsibilities

By using GLPTrackr, you represent and warrant that:

You are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

You will use the Service only for its intended purpose — tracking your personal GLP-1 medication journey, nutrition, and wellness.

You will provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account, logging health data, and interacting with other users.

You will comply with all applicable UK laws, regulations, and guidelines when using the Service.

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including any content you post, data you log, and interactions you have with other users.

You will maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and will not share your login details with any other person.

You will promptly notify us at hello@glptrackr.com if you become aware of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.

3. Prohibited activities

You may not use the Service to engage in any of the following activities. This list is not exhaustive, and we reserve the right to determine, at our sole discretion, whether any conduct violates this Policy.

3.1 Medical advice and health misinformation

You must not use the Service to:

Present yourself as a medical professional, pharmacist, nutritionist, or healthcare provider unless you are one and have been verified by us.

Discourage another user from seeking professional medical advice or following their prescriber's guidance.

GLPTrackr is not a medical device. All AI-generated content within the Service, including meal plans, nutritional estimates, side effect predictions, and dose insights, are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice.

4. Community-specific guidelines

The GLPTrackr community is a dedicated space for Mounjaro and Wegovy users to share their personal experiences, support each other, and stay motivated. The following additional guidelines apply specifically to the community feature.

4.1 What you should do

Share your personal experiences, milestones, progress, and honest reflections on your GLP-1 journey.

Be kind, empathetic, and supportive of other users at all stages of their weight loss journey, including those who are struggling, experiencing side effects, or considering stopping medication.

Use content tags (such as "Mounjaro", "Side Effects", "Success Stories") appropriately to help others find relevant content.

Report any content or behaviour that makes you feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or that you believe violates this Policy.

Respect that every person's experience with GLP-1 medication is different. What works for one person may not work for another.

4.2 What you must not do

Give medical advice of any kind. If someone asks a medical question, encourage them to speak with their prescriber, pharmacist, or GP.

Recommend specific doses, injection techniques, or medication brands to other users.

Share unverified tips, home remedies, or alternative treatments as if they are medical fact.

Post content that promotes extreme dieting, restrictive eating, or unhealthy relationships with food.

Engage in arguments, pile-ons, or targeted criticism of another user.

Share graphic descriptions of medical procedures, injections, or side effects without appropriate content warnings.

Post promotional, commercial, or off-topic content.

Share personally identifiable information about yourself or others, including full names, locations, workplaces, NHS numbers, or contact details.

4.3 Content ownership and licence

You retain ownership of all content you post in the community, including text, images, and comments. By posting content, you grant GLPTrackr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the Service for the purpose of operating and promoting the community feature. This licence ends when you delete your content or your account.

We do not claim ownership of your content. We will not use your content for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it outside the Service without your explicit consent.

5. Content moderation

We moderate community content to ensure compliance with this Policy and to maintain a safe, supportive environment for all users.

5.1 How we moderate

We use a combination of automated systems and human review to detect and assess content that may violate this Policy.

Users can report content or behaviour using the in-app report function or by emailing hello@glptrackr.com.

Reported content will be reviewed within 48 hours. During review, the content may be temporarily hidden from other users.

We assess all content in context, taking into account the intent, severity, and potential impact of the content.

5.2 What happens when content is removed

If we determine that content violates this Policy, we will remove or hide the content and notify the user who posted it. The notification will include the reason for removal and a reference to the relevant section of this Policy.

Users who have content removed will not be automatically penalised for a first-time violation, unless the content is of a serious nature (see Section 6).

6. Enforcement and consequences

We take a graduated approach to enforcement, with consequences escalating based on the severity, frequency, and intent of the violation.

6.1 Graduated enforcement

Level 1 — Warning: For first-time or minor violations, we will issue a written warning to the user explaining the violation and the expected corrective behaviour. The offending content will be removed.

Level 2 — Temporary restriction: For repeated violations or moderately serious conduct, we may temporarily restrict the user's access to community features, posting capabilities, or other specific features of the Service. Restrictions will typically last between 7 and 30 days.

Level 3 — Temporary suspension: For persistent violations despite prior warnings, or for serious conduct, we may suspend the user's entire account for a defined period, typically between 30 and 90 days. During suspension, the user will not be able to access the Service.

Level 4 — Permanent termination: For severe violations, repeated serious misconduct, or any conduct that poses a risk to the safety of other users, we may permanently terminate the user's account without further warning. Permanent termination includes deletion of the user's account and data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6.2 Immediate termination

The following violations may result in immediate permanent termination without prior warning:

Providing medical advice that could endanger another user's health or safety.

Harassment, threats, stalking, or any conduct that puts another user at risk of harm.

Sharing another user's personal information without their consent (doxxing).

Posting content that promotes self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous behaviour.

Distributing malware or attempting to compromise the security of the Service.

Any activity that is illegal under UK law.

6.3 Reporting to authorities

In cases involving illegal activity, threats of violence, risk of harm to any person, or child exploitation, we may report the user and provide relevant information to law enforcement or other appropriate authorities, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

7. Appeals

If you believe that action was taken against your account or content in error, you have the right to appeal.

Appeals must be submitted in writing to hello@glptrackr.com within 14 days of receiving notice of the action.

Your appeal should include your account details, a description of the action taken, and the reason you believe the decision was incorrect.

We will review your appeal and respond within 30 days.

During the appeal process, any restrictions or suspensions will remain in effect unless we determine otherwise.

Appeal decisions are final. If your appeal is unsuccessful, the original action will stand.

8. Your obligation to report

If you become aware of any violation of this Policy, any illegal activity, or any conduct that poses a risk to the safety of other users, we encourage you to report it immediately.

You can report violations using the in-app report function or by contacting us at hello@glptrackr.com.

All reports are treated confidentially. We will not disclose the identity of the reporter to the person being reported unless required to do so by law.

We do not tolerate retaliation against any user who makes a good-faith report.

9. Third-party content and links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any third-party website or service. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

You access third-party content at your own risk and are subject to the terms and policies of those third parties.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

13. Relationship with other policies

This Policy forms part of the binding agreement between you and GLPTrackr, together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail.

14. Severability

If any provision of this Policy is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or community standards. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.
