Delete Your GLPTrackr Account
Last updated: 23 April 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your GLPTrackr account and all personal data associated with it. GLPTrackr is committed to giving you full control over your data, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
How to request deletion
Option 1 — In the app fastest
- Open the GLPTrackr app on your iPhone or Android device.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your decision. Your account and data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Option 2 — By email
If you're unable to access the app, send an email to hello@glptrackr.com from the email address associated with your GLPTrackr account. Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and we'll process your request within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you request account deletion, the following personal data is permanently erased:
- Your account details (email address, name, authentication credentials)
- All medication tracking data (shot logs, dosages, injection sites, schedules)
- Weight, measurement, and progress tracking data
- Side effect logs and symptom tracking
- Food logs and any uploaded food photos
- AI Insights generated for your account
- In-app preferences and settings
- Subscription status and customer records linked to your account
What we may retain (and why)
A limited amount of data may be retained after your account is deleted, but only where we are legally required to do so:
- Financial transaction records (subscription purchases, refunds) — retained for up to 6 years to comply with UK tax and accounting law. These records do not contain your health data and are held by our payment partners (Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat).
- Anonymised analytics — aggregated, non-identifiable usage data that cannot be traced back to you may be retained for product improvement. This data contains no personal identifiers.
- Support correspondence — email communications with our support team may be retained for up to 12 months to comply with consumer protection obligations.
How long deletion takes
We aim to complete all deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them. In most cases, deletion is completed within 7 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the process is complete.
Data stored in encrypted backups is automatically purged within an additional 30 days after deletion, after which no copies of your personal data remain in our systems.
Third-party services
GLPTrackr uses a small number of trusted third-party services to operate. When you delete your account, we also delete data held about you by these processors:
- Supabase — our backend database and authentication provider. All your tracking data, account details, and generated content are stored here and are deleted when you delete your account.
- RevenueCat — manages your subscription status across iOS and Android. Your customer record is deleted, though anonymised transaction metadata may be retained for financial reporting.
- Anthropic / AI providers — used to generate AI Insights. Data sent for insight generation is not stored by our AI providers beyond the immediate request and is not used to train AI models.
Apple App Store and Google Play subscription records are managed by those platforms and governed by their own data policies. You may need to cancel your subscription separately through your App Store or Play Store account — deleting your GLPTrackr account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Before you delete
Cancel your subscription
- iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → GLPTrackr → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → GLPTrackr → Cancel
Your other data rights
